Product demo videos, built from your screenshots

Send Kario screenshots of your app in the order someone moves through it. It rebuilds each screen as layers and animates what happens on it: rows selected, an invoice built, a payment arriving.

Below is a demo it made for Fernbill, an invoicing app, from six of its screens.

What happens in the Fernbill demo

  • Fourteen time entries are selected, and the rows move into the invoice as its four line items.
  • The total counts up to $3,640.00. It's a text layer, not a recording, so a new price is one edit.
  • The client pays on her phone, and the desktop marks the invoice paid in the same frame.
  • The payment is matched to the bank account, and a late invoice gets reminders on day 1, 7 and 14.
  • There's no voiceover. The story is told by the app's own text, its sounds and the music, so it works with the sound off.

A screen recording is still the right call for a long walkthrough or a live tutorial.

What to give Kario

  • Screenshots of the screens in the flow, in order.
  • Your website URL, for copy, colours and type.
  • The one thing a viewer should remember from the demo.
  • The length: around 20 seconds for a feature post, 45 to 90 for a landing page.
  • A voice, if you want it narrated: describe it (calm, upbeat, British) or attach your own recording.
